Hoffman Homes is a community of employees gathered on one campus to help youth and young adults understand and manage their mental health diagnosis.
Hoffman Homes is seeking an Art Therapist to join our clinical team. The Art Therapist uses creative arts-based therapeutic techniques to support the emotional, behavioral, and developmental growth of youth in our residential treatment and educational programs.
As an Art Therapist, you will plan and facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions, collaborate with the clinical and educational teams on treatment planning, and document client progress. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people through the healing power of creative expression.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in art therapy from an accredited college or university preferred, or
- Master’s degree in counseling with Registered Expressive Arts Therapy certification or pursuing certification, or
- Bachelor’s degree in art therapy pursuing a Master’s degree in art therapy.
- Experience working with youth in a mental health setting.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
