About the Role
Hoffman Homes is a community of employees gathered on one campus to help youth and young adults understand and manage their mental health diagnosis.
The Education Department (Hoffman Academy) is accepting applicants for a position on the Restorative Support Team (RST). The RST assists the academy during the day-to-day routines, logistical functions, and behavior responses with restorative practices for students.
The RST position works within the Hoffman Academy and supports the educational environment by implementing restorative practices, assisting with de-escalation strategies, and helping maintain a safe and structured learning atmosphere. This role is integral to promoting positive student behavior and supporting the overall educational mission of Hoffman Academy.
Requirements
- Education within the mental health field and/or experience working with individuals in behavioral health is desired but not required.
- Must have a strong desire to help at-risk youth.
- Ability to remain calm and make good decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ethics and accountability.
- Must be able to complete clear and legible documentation.
